Getting ready for the Legacy Youth Invitational Tournament this weekend at Fort Devens, Ma. I was just sent the link for the schedule and some rule reminders for the event.
128 Coaches would like all players to arrive 1/2 hour before first game at assigned field to check in with them and warm up. Remember to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and snacks for the day. Good idea to pack footwear for both grass and turf fields.

Reminder: No Grilles on site. No Dogs. Parents need to park in designated area's only. State Police runs security at this event and they will be in FULL FORCE. This Facility is owned by the State and they are very strict with rules.
Food: We will have the Abington Ale House Restaurant Catering the event this summer. Fantastic Restaurant and will be selling Burgers, Dogs, Chicken Sandwiches and Cold Drinks.
We will have 4 Trainers on site all weekend.
Rules for the Legacy Youth Invitational.
We are using Federation High School Rules
We have some modifications:
3rd Grade and 4th Grade divisions (we have no counts to clear the ball into offensive end of field) Goalies will still have the 4 second crease count.
5th Grade - 8th grade will run with the Federation HS Rules (counts on al fields including the final 2 minutes in the game where the winning team must "keep it in:
All games are 2/22 minute running time halves
2 minute halftime
We have POOL Play for the divisions. Some Divisions have 3 game pool play and some have 4 game pool play (depending on the number of teams in the division).
This is a CHAMPIONSHIP Format. All teams are guaranteed 5 games in this tourney.
We will have 2 referees at all games
Scorekeepers on every field
Scorekeepers will keep the penalty time
There will be water jugs at every field too
Event is run on a central clock. Horn Blast will start and end games.
Every scorekeeper will have a radio and will be in constant communication with the Headquarters. Scorekeepers will give time updates at the half way mark of each half. They will also alert coaches and referees of the 5 minute mark, 2 minute mark, 1 minute mark, 30 seconds and count out the last 10 seconds in the half.
There is NO Overtime in POOL Play. Overtime is only in Semi Finals and Finals. In the event of a tie in Semi Finals or Finals. There will be a 5 minute sudden death overtime. If still a tie at the end of over time, there will be a 3 vs 3 braveheart game.

128 Lacrosse provides personal college recruitment assistance to the athlete who wants to play at the collegiate level of men's lacrosse. Our club players will be guided through the college recruitment process and our coaches will promote our players to the colleges of their choice.
